Clémence Anasthase

My name is Clémence, I am 34 years old and I live in France, in the Drôme.

I have always been a creative person, but it is only two years ago that I felt the necessity to express myself through Art. 

It was then obvious that I had to leave more space to painting and drawing in my life to find my balance. It is with watercolor that I found this fulfillment and that I have been working mainly for two years. I like the transparency and the delicacy of this medium.  

Flora and fauna (especially birds and animals of the forest) are my favorite subjects. Nature fascinates me so much by its forms and its grace...it is an inexhaustible source of inspiration!  

In the future, I also wish to explore more mediums long abandoned such as acrylic, gouache, inks and to work on the rendering and the interpretation of the light in my illustrations.
